The meals are all done very fresh and if you have concerns with no sugar or very low amount, this is the place to go. The chef will adjust to your dietery needs, and amazing staff. We were a group of 6 and every single person enjoyed their meal. We have already planned to go back. They serve breakfast and lunch, usually close around 3pm but if you make a request, they will open later for you personal party.
I had the worse experience of my life this morning for breakfast at Stoolies in Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue and I go out for breakfast at least once a week. I do NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!The owner or manager was rude and yelled at us, US THE CUSTOMERS. I was there with 8 friends. Their breakfast special this morning was eggs Benedict. The plate consisted of one very small English muffin seperated in two with very little bacon on one side only of the two half's. I do need to congratulate the cook on the sauce thought, it was yummy, very small amount but good but the plate looked empty. Visualize the 2 eggs on English muffin half's, very little sauce, less than 10 pieces of potatoes on one side and a very thin slice of a very small orange on the other side in an "S" shape.I had one person show up 10 minutes later than the rest and they refused to take her order saying that the kitchen could not furnish when no one was eating yet at our table. We felt bad for her when we finally got our order, so we shared our breakfast with her and Stoolies literally charged us $5.00 for making a change to menu. We protested since we did not make a CHANGE TO THEIR MENU as the owner came out and said it was clearly noted on the menu!! I took a picture of the menu and contrary to what the owner said we did NOT MAKE CHANGES TO THEIR MENU, we shared ours, which in my book is not at all the same thing. The worse was when we paid and were leaving he comes out and starts yelling and banging and almost broke the dishes on the table and almost the table, like he was trying to hurt us. I truly believe he needs lessons in communication skills and Customer Service Skills. I also think he need to go for management skills because they way he treated us I would be surprised if Stoolies stays open for more than a year.
Wonderful little restaurant on the water in Ste Anne's. Excellent, friendly service, food is delicious. Beautiful terrace to sit outside.
Very nice staff, tasty scones. Terrace is also quite nice by the water. We have been here twice as there aren't many places to just have a coffee in Sainte-Anne. The Americanos tasted a bit watered down, more like regular coffee, but still good. Haven't had any other food so we can't comment on that. I guess the things I don't care for are the fact that the place looks run down and a bit dirty. Service was long. The one thing that really bothered me was the fact that they served us water in plastic water cups, (disposables cups). We are in a recycling crisis and I find it sad that we can't just use real glassware+with the wind plastic stuff flies all over the place. From other reviews I hear the food is good and that must be why people come back. Like I said, very friendly staff/owners as well.
Great outdoor seating. Popular for breakfast, but fantastic dinner options as well. Great catering service, great staff. I highly recommend dinner here after a walk along the boardwalk!
