Good food but long waiting. I think the owner (lady) is knowledgeable but she is trying to serve everybody and you have to wait sometimes very long for your turn. Also kitchen closes at 21:00 on Saturday! so plan your visit before that. Overall Ok. $$$ for 3 person 150$ with 2 glasses of wine.
Worse restaurant experience ever!! For starters the restaurant didn't have our reservation and when we called, a lady; Suzanne, the owner I believe, was very rude.Secondly the service was horrible and slow. Things were forgotten in our orders. They were understaffed. The food was way overpriced. I came with a group, some of us took the table d'hte, and despite the menu stating that fries came with every meal, we had to share fries; 1 portion for 2. The portions were small and cheap. The dipping sauces were warm, they stayed out so long they were warm. And to finish it off, the chocolate fondue, the dessert was also cheap. Had to share my chocolate and the quantity of fruit was a real joke (1 strawberry, 4 slices of banana,1 piece of pineapple, 1 piece of cantaloup, 2 blueberries and 2 grapes)!! You get more fruits on your plate when you go to Chez Cora's, can you get any cheaper!! All in all will not be recommending this place and will not be going back. Ever!!!P.S. you do not mess with a ceasar by adding cranberries to it and still call it a ceasar!! There was no bacon and it was flavorless!!
We were there for Supper last night with a small group. We thought the waitress very slow, but then she was alone for the whole restaurant. The owner was rather rude in a dry way when talking to us like we should have known the answers to our questions. We paid a good price for a very small, ordinary, 4 course meal and Coffee was not even included. What I found worse was that at the end the restaurant kept all our receipts which was illegal and they overcharged everyone. Today when I spoke with my friends we could not verify what they were charged for but all claimed it was way too expensive for what we received. To top it all the owner, rudely, calls me up today and claimed that one of my men, there were only 3 men out of 17 total group, had not paid their bill. These were regulars that have attended many of my events. I did call the three men up and all paid and all three claimed they were overcharged but no one had a receipt to check what they were charged for. We believe that each person was charged a full bottle of wine when they were sharing a wine bottle between 4 people. Not a place to return to and PLEASE everyone check your receipts and KEEP THEM.
The service isn't great but the food is good and the owner tries really hard to ensure everyone has a good experience
Right from the reservation I had horrible service. Who ever took my reservation was very rude to me. Plus our reservation wasn't even booked. We were seated fortunately, however service was slow, very very slow. Restaurant itself is dark and old looking, no one looked to be working in the kitchen besides the 2 waitresses working the floor. All in all I will never go back and never recommend this restaurant. It should close down or make some major improvements because it's pretty pathetic.
