Beautiful, cozy village located in Montreal island. Great place to just walk around, have an icecream or a coffee, talk with friends and relax. At sunset, it is mandatory to have some drinks and a good meal in one of the excellent restaurants located in front of the canal

A lovely place to visit and walk in the quaint village of St Anne de Bellevue. I gave four stars because the water break has been closed, and it was a special spot to walk for its views. Enjoy people watching as the boats go through the locks, stroll down the board walk, or enjoy a drink or meal on one of the many terraces. Great little get away.

Very nice little spot. Great for strolling, biking, running, eating or relaxing on picnic tables or park benches. See boats go through locks. Water front walk with a good number of restaurants and bars to provide variety without being huge with too many people or drunks.

This sight is a Canadian lock station that allows boat passage from lake of Two Mountains (Ottawa river) to Lake St Louis. This is a great place to see many boats and people in summer. There is an area to picnic and restaurants so you can, and probably will spend hours there. Bring a chair with a picnic or just walk and eat at one of the many restaurants. There is lots to see if you like boats an like to people watch. I'll see you there. :-)

Tourist friendly area. Lots of parking. There used to be more and better shops, restaurants and bars. It's mostly over priced tourist traps. The boardwalk is nice. The last time I visited the grassy area on the other side of the locks was closed off. That's usually a nice picnic spot.
