What was once a family store is now the most frequented locale in St Annie's. There are 3 floors of beautifully presented goods, men and women's high end casual wear, imported various gifts and Kitchen/dining items. On the top floor is their very different furniture dept. They accept all credit cards, are open 7 days a week. No wheelchair access that I noticed. Free parking is not a problem. A quite different shopping Experience!
This is a very old, historic establishment that still preserves the wonderful architecture and interior. Above your head you can see the old paying system that included a metal basket with cash following the track from the cashier to the office upstairs. Lots of various items can be bought here from body lotion through pair of designer jeans to a modern sectional. Some gourmet food items also available for sale. I am concerned about the safety of the patrons though as only one entrance/exit is available and it opens to inside of the shop ( which is against the fire dept. regulations), while the other one is blocked by the goods display. Very dangerous on case of emergency evacuation.
